    Microsorium pteropus (Twistedleaf)

It is a fern of slow growth, very robust and suitable for all types of water, whether soft or hard, able to coexist also to all kinds of fish.

Its growth is very slow, and, being a rhizome plant, it does not need substrate to grow, it can be fixed to rocks or trunks, where it will live in optimal conditions.

If we decide to plant it in the substrate, we should be careful not to cover the rhizome excessively, as it tends to rot

The black spots under their leaves, are their reproductive organs, called "sporangia", in no case should we think that these black spots are symptoms of a disease.
